Bought a new SR9c at a gun show. Gonna shoot today!!! <><

I ran nothing by Federal 115gr through my SR9c for the first several hundred rounds. The only problem I had was two stovepipes in the first couple mags because of limp wristing. My trigger pull smoothed out by about 500 rounds. It was a little gritty at first, and I was convinced I had gotten a bad/abused at the gun store model. Not so, just had to put some rounds through it. It wasn't terrible, just not the silky smooth pull the rental SR9c had. Mine now has that same silky smooth pull.

Be sure and thoroughly clean before you go to the range. Don't forget to pull the striker and clean it and the striker channel too. My Mark I has been feeling neglected since I got the Sr9c.

I have good success with WW and Fed from Wally World. I burn up about 300 rds a month with no issues. at 19.97 a 100 for Fed it is hard to beat. I have used Silver Bear and Reman. from "Freedom Munitions" & "USA ammo" with great results.

P.S.
I still like my SR9c better than my Std SR9.

I like my SR9C as affordable, accurate and fun to shoot right out of the box. My life likes it as well so I bought her one also. We have "date nights" where we'll go shoot and practice, practice, practice. I hope you'll enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

I shot 150 rounds of Independence yesterday with no problems. Whoever said they were accurate earlier on this forum is correct. I usuall carry an XD9, and it is a good carry gun, but this one is a little lighter and once she is proven, the race will be the XD9 or the SR9c!!! <>< :)
