i just bought the sr9c. i heard it has problems with the break in point, what would be the proper way to break it in?

Clean it then run about 100 rds of 124 grain ammo through it. Others have said to leave the slide locked back for a few days. The main issue is the spring/guide rod is pretty stiff. Once it gets a little break in time everything seems to work fine.

This is what I had to do with mine at least. Had several stove pipes with 115 grain at first, after some 124 grain its been fine.

Clean and shoot it! The 124gr will help.
She is stiff but she will smooth out with use.
I have had not problems with mine. :D

Lateck,

Most important!!! Remove the striker from the slide and completely clean out everything that is in the striker channel. DO NOT LUBE THE STRIKER CHANNEL. Just a little bit of gun oil on the striker itself and then wipe it off with a clean rag. There will be enough residue to do the job. Then fire the hell out of it. I do not like WWB ammo so I would use Federal or some other factory load. The gun will feel broken in after about 500 -600 rounds, but it is so much fun to shoot you keep going for quite a while.
