Hi, I have the Ghost Rocket in both my SR9 and SR9C. To me, it helped the trigger pull considerably, made it a bit lighter and corrected all overtravel.
To determine if your gun has overtravel, look at the back of your trigger and you will see a stepped section. When the "glock-type" middle section is pressed back, that stepped section then is presented and hits the back of the frame when the trigger is fully pressed and the gun is fired. That stepped section is a form of overtravel preventor but it is not perfect since it is generic and not specific to the internals of every gun. Therefore, your gun may have minimal, some or alot of overtravel.
[b]With an empty gun and an empty mag[/b], you can put a folded piece of paper or a piece of rubber behind the trigger with a thickness such that as the trigger is pulled and the striker is released the paper or rubber will prevent the trigger from going any futher. Hold the trigger in that position and pull the paper or rubber out and the space between the back of the stepped section of the trigger and the frame is the "overtravel."
Overtravel may affect your accuracy unless you hold the gun very firmly because it allows the gun to move slighly as the trigger hits the back of the frame.
The Ghost Rocket will correct that overtravel. To me, it reduced the trigger press weight to around 4.5 lbs, made it very crisp, and eliminated all overtravel. It was well worth the $29.
