Has anyone modified the finger extension on the 10rd mag so it's not so captain hookish? Maybe make it appear more like the M&P9c extension? Post pics if you have them.

Actually several of us have. Pretty easy to do and makes concealing more comfortable. Here is A write up I did after doing this some time ago, I have since ground it back even further.

I thought about trimming the finger extension on my SR40c but ended up not using one and putting on the flat bottom piece. Even with the somewhat snappier .40S&W a two fingered grip with the pinky under the magazine works comfortably for me and it improves the concealment and drawing factors too.

That looks so much better. Has anyone thought of flattening the bottom like this?

When I originally did mine I wanted to keep part of the slope in the extension to help keep hand in place. Since doing it I went further then my pic, just a little short of that pic posted above. Buy a couple of extensions and experiment, easy enough to do and it's a big improvement to carry.

Thanks vern, I was planning on buying a bunch and chopping them. I live in MA. so there's no point in using the extended setup.
