SR40 Problem Need help ASAP!

Just bought an SR40 about 3 weeks ago I have had 0 problems with it, until today when I was cleaning it.

One of the pins does not stay in and Im not sure why..any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My opinion, you have two choices. Send it back to Ruger, or use some blue Locktite and reinsert the pin.

Im gonna take it back to where I got it tomorrow and see what they say but I just cant figure out why it would be like this, theres nothing to hold it in. I just wanted to see if anyone on here could help me out if I was somehow doing something wrong or if it was a common thing or something.

Pins like that are press fit. Have the same problem on my SR9c, just with a different pin. I used the Locktite and it has not come loose since. Good luck.

thats funny cause I actually just bought some blue loctite for something else the other day. that sucks that its just an annoying problem..

There's also a small flatspring that retains that pin.

Fixed it, cost me $20
