Looked to me like there were as many or more people as the November show . As far as gun sales , it looked about average . As always it's the show of shows.

Hey Steve, nothing unusual.....only some old scratched up MEXICAN RSSE or maybe I should say SPANISH :roll: :roll: :roll: lots of Hawkeyes....probably a few I didn't hear about or see as I spent most of my time drooling over that scratched up gun :lol: :lol: :lol: Heck all I found was another consecutive pair and a triplet to one of the pairs at home :shock: :shock: :shock: sure was fun....RR.

Great Job on the Purchase & Welcome to the Faternity. I will have the 'Sister' on display this Fall in Tulsa.
There is still 3 Spanish RSSE's out there that has not been seen or heard of yet! :roll:

We went to supper Friday night and I had to set at a different table....only SPANISH RSSE OWNERS were allowed at the BIG BOY table :shock: :shock: :shock: 3 guys at that table own them including a consecutive pair....I may NEVER get to sit at THAT TABLE :lol: :lol: :lol: but they let me sit close by in case they need me to wipe them down......yes we were at the RIB CRIB and someone has to wipe the BBQ of their faces :roll: :roll: :roll: some will do anything to get a chance to HOLD one of these beauties including ME......RR.

I pounded concrete for about 6 hours Friday. But on Saturday, the pounding was much slower due to the heavy crowd, but still walked a good 5-6 hours.
I did buy one OM 45, 4-5/8" in the box for $500 along with a nasty old Smith from what was supposed to be an estate sale. It does fill a slot in my s/n range, so plan to keep it.
then, on Sunday, I sweated a lot for about 30 minutes. Found a OM 357 Flat top - 10 incher!!! Looks to be 98-99% to me. compared to my beater one here at home, this thing looked like pure gold!!!! Really wanted it.
Fellow had $2200 on it, but would take $1750 for cash. After that 20 minutes or so of sweating, we finally made a trade where I gave him a new model 45 BKH and some money to make it to the $1750.
I brought it home very carefully.
One point, I KNOW I walked that same isle more than once, and that revolver was NOT on the table before Sunday morning early. But, now, it is here in the safe. s/n = 22610
Makes me smile every time I look at it!!!!!

RR - Well, it takes me a couple of days after I get back home to 'recover', if you could call it that. It is more like crash-n-burn, but I get so excited about the treasure hunting that it is worth it.
Rugerhound, IF I could figure out how to post pictures properly, I would be glad to. But so far, all my efforts have only put links in the posting rather than pictures. And, the pictures are either gigantic or thumbnail size. Any guidance (and I have tried it like the posted instructions say) would be appreciated.

Just back from the big Tulsa show. Best thing I picked up was the new book on Great Western revolvers and derringers. Not about Rugers but good info and great pictures.
