I determined that from other similar knives I've seen and the Eagle's Head on the butt.
 
I'm interested. Would like to see the last 2 pictures in focus so I can see the blade condition.

I just don't have much luck with the camera I have now, haven't really had any good camera since the Pentax, but here's a few more pic's for y'all.

There were a lot of these and similar style German-made "bowies" made years ago. I have one a little smaller than this one, doesn't have the eagle head pommel. They are typically very good quality carbon steel, which I personally prefer over most stainless. Looks like it could use a good polishing job but I'll bet it's a very good knife. Good luck with your sale, Redstick. Good to see you back on the boards.

PM replied! Camera is a Vivitar "Vivicam 7022". Problem with the camera is prob'ly the user, 'cause this thing's too hi'tech and didn't even come with a book. (S'posed ta look on-line fer d'rections.)
