I bought a SIG 220 that had come from the factory with the 22 kit on it. They were selling them this way a few years back; I don't know if they still sell that way now. I got this from a family member who had not used it much. I bought a new 45 conversion kit and put it on the frame. It is just a quick swap out of barrel/slide/magazine/recoil spring. The 45 kit came with night sights (yes, glow in the dark ones) and the 22 slide has a fully adjustable sights. Both feed and function fine, and I have only shot about 20 rounds through both set ups. I don't use the 45 as I hate to chase brass in the woods where I shoot, and I have other 22 autos to shoot. Now I want a 454 hunting revolver.
This makes a great serious business gun or even a police duty gun, with the benefit of the 22 kit to practice with.
I had forgotten until I got it out to take photos, but I bought a set of Hogue rubber grips and put them on the gun. The original grips are in the Hogue package and can go right on if you like the originals.
I am asking $800 OBO for the two caliber set up.
Raising cash for a Super Redhawk 454 with 5" barrel and that is the only thing I would consider for a trade, but if you have one to trade, let's talk.
