Sold Pending receipt of funds to flh79

Marked on barrel/receiver: PATRONE .22Long Rifle Mauser-Werke AG Oberndorf AN
S/n 191605
25.5" barrel
Pictures show the condition. The one bad part is someone at some time put a scope on it and "modified" the bolt to clear the scope. Still works correctly and the barrel is worn but still shoots good.

Found out that it is missing a part of the rear sight so price is lowered.

Included is the scope, a Weaver V22-A, 3X to 6X variable (a bit cloudy and missing one adjustment cap)

Was $300 shipped. Now $200 shipped

If you want it post and send me a PM amd we'll get it done.

I have one similar to this. My dad bought it for me 60 years ago for $20 in a barber shop. I have yet to find a .22LR that shoots as well. It’s a pity that some goon boogered up the bolt. Regardless, it’s a fine rifle at a bargain basement price. Best of luck with your sale. I hope some 6-year old gets it. My grandson will get mine soon.

I was just going to say I'd take it, but then I noticed the windage leaf on the rear sight is missing, which is unobtainium. The whole rear sight would need to be replaced - a very expensive proposition. Then, there's still that bolt handle abomination. :(
I hate to see these great old rifles end up like this. Good luck with the sale.

Truthfully, I hadn't noticed that. Thank you for bringing that up. I wonder if it went missing when the person put the scope on it.

Guess I'll have to either lower the price, try my luck at finding it or the whole rear sight, or pull my ad.

Yes, when this part is removed, it's usually because it interferes with a scope. The sad part is, the whole sight comes out easily by pushing down and pulling back on it at the front end.
