I'm new to the forum so I'm probably asking an oft repeated question but where do I get the grips with the rosewood inserts like the old GP's for the SP-101? I saw a picture of an sp on http://www.corneredcat.com/FirstGun/anotherview.aspx with these grips so I know they exist. Do the GP grips fit the SP?

Also, does anyone have any experience with the "Hogue Fancy Hardwood Grips" or ones like them? Are these very functional or just for looks?

Thanks

Here are some others to consider...

This custom grip insert maker generally has a few eBay auctions open and uses several different exotic woods. I bought a set made from Australian burl wood that look very nice on my own SP101.

This maker uses domestic (non Sambar) stag if you want something other than a smooth surface insert.

And Altamont is an OEM supplier that uses hardwood (mostly laminate I believe). I placed an order for two sets of SP101 inserts but cancelled before shipment due to their delays.
