My grandson would like to offer his silver bars for sale, he has purchased a home and a farm this year, so could use the revenue from
the silver sale. He has a sleeve of 10 1 OZ. bars, and another sleeve of 20 1 OZ. bars, plus 2 - 5 OZ. bars, total of 40 OZ. .999% pure silver.
All purchased from J.M. Bullion, some years back as an investment. Never touched by our hands, always kept in the sleeves in the safe.
Current price on J.M. Bullion, $2,432.00 for the same 40 OZ.
These are offered at $2,200.00 shipped to your home, USPS registered mail, or Express mail, either way will require a signature upon delivery. Preferred to sell as a full unit of 40 OZ.

You can also sell silver on Craigslist, both by responding to ads offering to buy and by placing an ad yourself.
Good luck with your sale.

It hit +65.00 this past week. WOW! yet again. I still have some Morgans that I have been saving that I originally bought for $5 ea.

what do you actually realize on silver money. Around here in CT there are multiple on line daily eastate auctions. They often have pre 65 coins. Typically the sell for 28 X face value + an 18% buyers premium. I don't think coins have a sales tax though

Worth ?,,, Currently 51 times face value, ALL IN!
Thus one would have to minus the 18%

I order $500.00 boxes of half dollars from my bank, then search for silver clad or 90% silver halves. That is where I have gotten most of mine. So I have face value in coins that are worth $25.00. Overloadded

what is the spread of buy vs sell price What are dealers or even private sellers paying to buy?
That is no different spread than dealers vs private sellers selling cars, homes, guns etc... I'm not selling mine so I can't give you a price here for buyers. But a car dealer, realtor, whoever- always gets more than a private seller does.

Coinflation is a melt value, usually considered the minimum.
When Silver is going up at the current rate we’re experiencing, Melt Value is the deal.
It boils down to Demand vs Supply.
Now with that said most Pawn Shops will pay 10-20% less.
Most Coin Shops will pay very close to melt. They also are looking for Numismatic value coins and won’t tell you that the CC Morgan Dollar that your selling for cash on the barrel head ,,, is really worth hundreds more than the 50X….🙄
Not to say there aren’t those honest peoples out there that will pay closer to value minus a reasonable profit.

Today I went to the biggest coin shop around here and asked what they would take for my silver quarters and dimes. I had already done my homework so I knew most dealers were paying about 44 1/2 times face value, or about 9 bucks per ounce below spot.
I asked them what their buy price multiplier was and he did some calculations and said 49.4 times face. I thought I didn't hear right, maybe he said 44.9 so I said OK and he counted my coins. Then he paid me 49.4 times face.
I was a little confused, when I got back to my truck I got on the calculator and saw that 49.4 was only about a buck under spot. I'm pretty sure he made a mistake.
I bought that silver at 3.3 times face 23 years ago and sold it for 49.4 times face.... that's almost 15 times what I paid for it.
