Of all the .44 Flattop Old Model Blackhawk that I have seen, the number of boxes that I have seen you can count on one hand. When those guns were made and shipped they were not collectable guns. That was to come much later. The first thing that the buyer did was to throw that cheap cardboard box away. If they did keep it, after a few years the box got oil soaked and the corners got broken and then it got thrown away.

If you are a serious collector, you want everything that comes with the gun. After a few years you will find that the box for that .44 Mag Flattop is almost impossible to find. And if you are lucky to find one for sale, it is not going to be cheap.

One other thing. If you think that box is hard to find, just try to find the shipper for it. :roll: :roll:

Missed this one....would been more, but I recall buying a wood box,......... and someone else said that about his missing the"deal"......so, got my stimmie check today and went over to the ACP zone and bought an 11A1.....gotta keep th Economy going.......... 8)
