Grip panels are not correct for a 1st yr Flat Top..they were black rubber.
Walnuts were late '58 or early '59 if memory serves me.

That’s a minus $200 on the price for many of us.

For me the grips would be OK, but the conversion would require a reversal, including a Super hammer..if I were to bastardize it.
Will look at it again in 9 or 10days..

Needs a correct ejector rod..plus needs an original rear sight screw..

The early guns (such as this one) had a small adjustment "hash mark" on the screw head, perpendicular to the screw slot..kind of a tiny triangle

Another thing to learn from this post is that there were no "redbird" grip medallions on the OM single-action grip panels. Someone has painted or swapped the ones shown in mike722's link.

Didn't stop the gun from selling for $705 though. :wink:

Well, it's already at $1515.15 AND it's been SAFETY NEUTERED..... Less than an hour to go tonight; and someone will probably bid even more.... OMG :shock:
