Serial # 2419. Shipped December, 1949. Has a few rough spots, some light scratches, and a several spots of missing blue but, overall, a very good example of a 1st-year production Standard Auto. SOLD

I think the market might be a bit narrower on these, but the historical significance of this type of weapon can't be overstated IMO. I can't imagine they wouldn't find buyers.

Fred, you are right. I still have the receipt where I bought the gun. It was $37.50 plus 4% tax for a total of $39.00. No, I sold the gun years ago. What would the receipt be worth now? I could probably sell it.
