Very limited production Old Model Flattop and seldom offered for sale. Original configuration with factory checkered hard rubber grips on XR3 frame. Includes factory letter stating shipped September of 1959. This revolver has been professionally restored by Gunsmithing Limited that operates out of the original Ruger factory in Southport, CT. They welded in a drilled and tapped hole in the top strap that was used to secure a Bushnell Phantom pistol scope. The original lock work is present and the grip frame was not restored; only the bluing of the steel parts. The welded area left a slight "halo" after the bluing so the price is much reduced to $1465. The bore has 6 grooves which is more common that those with 8 grooves. The bore and chambers are excellent and the photos will show the rest of its condition. Payment may be made in 3 monthly installments with shipping to take place after the last payment. This will be mailed from my FFL and may be had by those with a C&R license. Payment will be USPS Money Orders (preferred) or financial institution money orders. Shipping will be $35 fully insured.
