Snow in Texas April 5th

I live about 100 miles from the Mexican border in the Big Bend region. We had an unusually cold spell of weather the past couple of days, and it snowed a little yesterday. It's been very dry for several months and we really needed the moisture. I was running the air conditioner in the house a few days ago.

Must have got the tail end of what we got, 8-10" of heavy/wet snow. Should be melted in a couple days, expecting 70 degrees here by end of week.

We have had a few of these heavy spring snows over the past couple years. Lose lots of tree limbs, mess to clean up. Not a huge fan, but I suppose it's better than cleaning 2' of snow off the drive in single digit temps.
