Reminds me of a belt buckle I had as a kid. When you stuck out your belly, the derringer would flip forward and fire a plastic bullet. A greenie stickum cap would supply the blast. God, I'm so old.

Loved those in my Fanner 50. :D

When people complain about a firearm being to large for concealed carry I would say I have no problem concealing a casull, they would look at me funny and I woulf pull mine from my pocket. Mine has white grips though. :D

I have the bearcat shopkeeper and the LCR, ALTHOUGH THE LCR that I have is a .38 spl. I have shot an LCR IN .22 L.

The Shopkeeper is fun and nice looking, but is a single action and as such I would not choose it for a primary carry weapon. Also, it is quite heavy to carry, if you are looking for something comfortable. The LCR, on the other hand is light weight, easy to conceal and being double action, in my estimation, is a good choice if you are choosing a .22l caliber.

Not sure what the current going price of the LCR is, but I paid $329.00 for mine a couple of years ago

Hope this is helpful.

I remember the "gun" and I believe it's the one WAYNO and I discussed a few years ago. Regardless, I had one of those. It was sooo cool! :D

Looks like the .22 Short (smallest) NAA mini revolver is still available:

Maybe its just the belt buckle that is out of production?

I have .22 Short specimen. Pretty cool and fun, but don't use it much.

Thanks sheepdog

What is the cost of the bearcat? Does anyone have one?

I'm sure a lot of folks around here can tell you about the bearcat, I myself would like one but don't have one. Maybe start a new thread about bearcats and I'm sure you could get some good info. As far as price check out gunbroker.

North American Arms in Provo Utah makes those tiny 22LR revolvers, the belt buckle is available as a accessory very similar to the Freedom Arms made ones.

weren't the 22 short belt buckle guns advertised in the back of the old comic books back in the early 60's, along with the diy helicopters and diy atv kits? I always wanted to sell the "Grit Newspapers" so I could get enough points to buy some of that stuff. :D
