Slab Sides

Here are my three slab sides. The stainless I’ve had for 30 years and is one hell of a shooter. The others are proving just as good.

Nice. You have the hard to find 6.88" blue version and any of the 5.5" versions are not that common either.

The slab sides grow to a foursome. Might grow to five if I come across a great eight. I know there are other variations but I like these the most, so far.

Collections have a way of causing us to expand into the other variations since the initial one created such enjoyment.

That's how I started,, I got one Ruger SA in .357,, and the rest is history!

If you ever run across one of these, pick it up. Scoped up and fired from a rest, this one has put down groups under an inch...at 100 yards.

Im not a fan of the 22/45 grip frame. Wish they made the slab side great eight in the standard frame.

Using a rest the KMK678GC pictured can punch under 1” at 100yds with its scope on. The Clark trigger in there is super smooth.

When I was younger and had young eyes, picking off empty 12g shells at 75 yds or so with open sights was great way to spend an afternoon.
