besides being smaller, is there any REAL diference between the vaquero and new vaquero. As in do they dissemble the same. do they go back togeather the same.

Not talking about the no 44 mag cuz its to light, but mechanically, are they same inside??????

The New Vaqueros have a Reverse Indexing Pawl, Internal Lock, a Crescent Ejector Rod head and different grip frame. They disassemble the same.

The New Vaquaro is easier to assemble the cylinder back into due to the design of the pawl system. The Pawl drops completely out of the window when the loading gate is open. The cylinder aligns way more easily when re-installing it in the gun.
