I just noticed these on the Davidsons websight BVN224SI and BVN225SI and I was wondering if anyone that has one could post a photo. They look interesting. They have a case color frame and faux ivory grips. They are not on Ruger's websight and the Davidsons photos are small. If anyone has one and could post a photo, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Here is a set of consecutive serial number guns. These are the older version that were shipped in 2003, I think!!!

Street, thanks for the fast reply! Yours look great. I suspect this might be a liited opportunity. I'll have to decide soon. Wish I had seen these before Christmas. Thanks again.

These are cleanup guns from the 2003 issue. First heard that Williams had gotten some and apparently Davidson's has also.

I posted on the other thread (4 5/8 Single Six) that I might have to get one of these. Of course I don't need it but I don't have a case colored Ruger or a Vaquero style. I have another Ruger (SS Blackhawk Convertible 9mm/357mag 4 5/8") coming in within the next few day, Hmmmmmmmm, gotta give this some thought. I just LOVE the 4 5/8" barrel guns.

I wonder if they are they worth the $561+ price (quote from Davidsons including sales tax).

If anybody gets any of these, please PM me the info on them. I posted sn info of the same models in the other thread, made 2001 to 2003. Heard these new guns might even have a different sn range, and if truly new made would also have the NEWPORT address on the bottom of the barrel. Eager to hear anybody's reply!

Methinks I would like to have one to retrofit a steel XR3 to and slap some PC goodies in for proper function.

Craig, I think this model has a steel grip frame. At least I'm sure that the 2003 models did.
