single six stag grips

What are your thoughts on some of the stag grip makers mentioned on this forum? Some makers names, I heard mentioned, were Patrick Grashorn, Sack Peterson, and Paul Persinger?

Does anyone make buffalo horn grips? Or some other black natural grips?

you gotta actually contact any one or all of them and ask......they know "how", its do they or will they work with that material...I've seen some black ,horn grips also from some of the major grip makers also, easy enough to go to any and all of the grip company web sites and again, check into whats available, I sold a few pairs of black, horn grips years ago, but in reality they were a tough sell..................

I have a pair of stag grips from Sack Peterson and another on order. I think his prices are really good and the quality is excellent. I have heard good things here about all the grip makers you've mentioned.

Grashorn is excellent. I never hear a bad thing about his work. I’m excellent. I have been at this a while now and I’m basically an obsessive compulsive nutjob about what I cut and the way I cut it.

Persinger has an even more elite skill set. I think you’d be underutilizing his talents if you just want nice stags.

I like Buffalo horn myself and there seems to be a steady supply of good inexpensive raw water buffalo horn coming into the country. I’ve found it a pain in the fanny to polish though. Eagle has it figured out in some manner and has set the prevailing price at about $100 a set. I can’t do the polishing on them they need and be competitive with their price. You should probably buy Buffalo horn grips from Eagle. Send in your grip assembly to fit to.
