Ok, well can I expand on this post? I've got a well used single six, blued. I've been thinking g of getting it redone and reworked by Clements or someone similar.

Question: would there be any advantage to getting the blued alloy grip frame replaced with steel? Or would it be better to stick with the alloy frame?

I like the added weight which makes the gun balance better.

Thanks. I was thinking of the weight difference. It's not lime the gun would end up being too heavy either...
