Is there a time period where the chambers in the Single Sixes were smaller on the average?
I have a Super Single-Six convertible that came with five different chamber sizes in the LR cylinder. It shot a group of 3 to 4 then sent out 2 to three fliers. 3"+ on average. Lousy accuracy.
As an experiment I had a gunsmith equalize the chambers. The last time I shot it the groups were more round and consistent but still too large.
So I'm looking for a cylinder that will hopefully have smaller chambers. As it is now they are around .225" or thereabouts.
