With no saftey wouldn't that be kind of dangerous? Like a glock.

Don't think it would be as dangerous as the Block. When de cocked the gun is turned off completely if single action. If used as a range gun or house gun no problem. Wouldn't use it for carry.
Not a fan of striker fired pistols. I never thought that little thingy in the center of the trigger really had a useful purpose.

Are you suggesting that you would have to thumb-cock the pistol to fire after it has been de-cocked? Like a single-action revolver on the first shot? I'm not sure what you'd gain since you can thumb-cock it for the first shot in its original form also. Seems like you'd also want to change to a spur-type hammer if speed was a concern.

I can thumb cock a P89. But maybe its just the shape of my hand in relation to the shape of the gun.
I guess what the poster means is being able to leave it cocked and locked for carry, like on a 1911.
