Shooting Bench ideas

Well, didn't know where to ask this, so try the forum with the most
posts. I am wanting to build a shooting bench for a winter project.
An individual one that I can put on skids or wheels to move around
with an atv if needed. Pictures of yours would be nice, or a plan
or a link to a plan. Initially I'm thinking of having my friend who
owns a muffler/exhaust shop to weld up a frame on which to bolt
treated wood for the seat and top. I want it to accomidate a left or right
handed shooter. I'm sure there's some good ones
out there that you folks have made. Picture is worth a 1000 words.

Can accomodate R or L shooters, but bench needs to be rotated 90 degrees to do so (if firing down the same line!)

I built my bench from concrete blocks (for stability) with a wooden 'top'.

I built mine out of 1/2 sheet (4x4) piece of 3/4inch pt plywood for the top, I cut out a 2x1 ft piece in the middle of the back side to make a sort of "U" shaped top that could be used by either a right or left handed shooter with plenty of room for sandbags, spotting scope, ammo, etc. I built the legs out of 2x4 pt lumber and I use a folding or plastic chair with a boat cushion to adjust the height. If I need to move it I just back my truck up to it, drop the tailgate and roll it into the back of my truck. It stays mostly on the property that I hunt on so it is easy to sight in when needed.
