SFAR

Woops, scratch that, didn’t see a 308 harrier on website.

None of the Ruger 308/762 autoloading rifles have seemed to have had a decent life span.

XGI never borne to the market, SR-762 piston gun short lived, SFAR gone quickly as well.

A friend took an early SFAR to use in a long range shooting course at a well known gun ranch. He ended up using a loaner gun and the smith there indicated there was an issue with the chambering, if I remember correctly insufficient leade in the throat of the rifiling.

The SFAR was plagued with problems. So Ruger may have discontinued it for that reason. Or, the next logical reason might have been poor sales.

But,,, would poor sales relate to the problems?
