At the edge of the desert here, an old M4 Sherman tank stands watch over the Veterans section of a small cemetery. The year round, the old warhorse is faithful in it's duty. Time to time, a walk takes me near by so I'll stop a while in the welcome shade of the near by trees and pay my respects. It's a peaceful place, perhaps so because of those that rest there.

Great pictures. There's something classic about the look of an old M4. There's one in front of the Armory near my home town. When my oldest (Sherman) was young we called it Sherman's tank.

Glad you took the long shot and posted it, for these eyes it's the one that says it all. Thanks.
