Seller has posted it as an STS model. I am not home with my books. I am inclined to think it may refer to stainless? Can someone tell me for sure? Dvaid

Not a big fan of using the SS to abbreviate stuff in the Ruger world as SS could mean; stainless steel Single Six Security Six Service Six Speed Six Super Single Six ..... etc .....
