Security Six grip screw

Does Packmyer use the factory grip screw for the wood grips for their rubber grip? In other words does the factory wood grip screw work with the Packmyer grips?

I've not seen them use the OEM screw. The Pachmayr grips should come with their own screw.

Thanks. Kinda going about this backwards. I have Packmyer grips on it now and would like to get a pair of factory wood grips. Just wondering of the Packmyer and factory screw are the same or if i have to get a screw for the wood grips is they don't come with the screw.

If you buy replacement OEM Six series grips, they should come with the screw. You will probably need to go to someplace other than Ruger to get the grips if you want the factory issued grips. Ruger used to have the oversized grips (new old stock), but I think they might have sold all of them. You can check at ShopRuger.com. Otherwise, check Gunbroker or eBay. If buying from GB or eBay make sure the description says with grip screw. You can also check with www.gunpartscorp.com (Numrich) to get the grip screws and grips.
