Don Lovel
Hunter
apparently I am on a role of obtaining some cool guns in trades.
I was helping some folks work on their pickup and the lady told me she had been really having trouble with depression and drug interactions messing her up emotionally and she had a gun she wanted to get out of her house.
1936 Moisin Nagant in clean nice looking condition. I could have probably had it for free, but I gave her $100 for it as they are broke and having troubles making ends meet and the rifle is pretty clean. I bought a box of Tula ammo for it at Wal Mart and will try to go get some recoil therapy with it. Her boyfriend told me that he did not think it was safe to shoot, I told him, "Nope, it is just Russian, but it will probably drive tacks at 500yds"
pre 64 Model 70 and a 1936 Moisin in the same week, yeehaw factor 1000
