Scoped Single Sixes? Show 'em!

After seeing a couple of scoped Blackhawks I have the hankering for one. It also struck me that a scoped Single Six might be fun as well. And I just happen to have an OM Super that would make for much fun. :mrgreen:

So while I'm plotting and planning my next steps (aka rolling my pennies for the BH and looking at mounts for both), I thought it might be fun (there's that word again :mrgreen: ) to see some folks show off their scoped Single sixes.

Scoped revolvers aren't really my "thing," but I do have a Single-Six Hunter. I think the Hunter gives you a little "cleaner" looking mount over some other options. Iron sights can also stay put, in most cases.

I think the trimmest scope available usually looks the best- think 2X, w/o a large objective lens.

Yeah- they are not cheap, but they are definitely built to last. My wife bought me the .22 Hunter almost a decade ago for $375 and they are close to double that now. Despite a decade of use, it still feels like it is brand new.

Then you need to get out more... They come much bigger and bulkier

Here's mine. $200 used for the gun with both cylinders several years ago, and I added Wolfe springs, brass button trigger over travel stop and B-Square no drill base. Topped with a Japanese made Weaver 2X scope. Shoots nice little 3/4 inch groups at 25 yards from a rest with CCI MiniMag .22LR.
