Scope mounting on N°1

I am seeking help on mounting a riflescope on a Ruger N°1 (A?) in 30-06 the rifle I bought today from a gunshop in Northern Italy will arrive in 20 days or more because a particular licence is required to send a gun from a gun shop to another and I can not go there in person for family problems.
I was glad to find this rifle because will cost me more than € 1000,00 ($1360 or so) less than retail price for a new one, it was used a few times (2 times at the range) and the current calibers are not of my liking or are proposed in the wrong configuration (for me) like 7x57/257 R only in stutsen form.
I would like to Mount one Konuspro T30 3-12X44, but don't know if the space between the two ring lugs on the rifle rib are spaced properly to moun this scope (99 mm of space availeable for rings).
Anyone can help me out?

I haven't had any problems mounting scopes on my No1s using the rings that came with the guns. Ruger does make rings that are offset (looks like about 1/2 inch) in case you need them.

If that is the scope, it is so short that I think that you will find it impossible to mount with the standard Ruger scope rings and bases. I think that you will probably find it impossible, or at best, very difficult to mount with a Ruger offset ring on the front, and a regular ring on the back. Remember, not only must you be able to mount the scope on the rifle, you must be able to mount it in a position which is useable. You will have issues with both facets of this problem. Long scopes like Burris Fullfield work best with two standard rings on a No. 1. I have a 6-18x working like that, but when I try to mount my Nikon Monarch 6.5-20x, it does not allow me to position the scope properly, even with one offset ring in the rear. It is a shorter, more "modern" scope than the Burris, and that Konus, if it is the correct scope, is very much shorter and more "modern" than even my Nikon. I think that if you want to mount that scope, that you should expect to use some of the non-Ruger bases and rings that you can get more variations in ring position and spacing. I can't advise on those options because I do not have knowledge of the various products offered. If that does not work, you will need to get a longer scope model.

A 1A in 30-06 will work OK with a Leupold 2x7. It should give you ample rearward positioning options w/o the offset rings and you can use low rings for a great sight picture. Low rings are not available in the offsets.

You may have to slide the rear iron sights out of the dovetail but they are pretty crappy anyway. The Leupolds are rugged and come with a range of features and costs. Lots of used ones available too.

A monster size 50 mm scope would dwarf the diminutive scale of the 1A and be cumbersome.
