BTW, that anniversary Single Six is kind of interesting. It is the only 4 5/8" Single Six barrel since 1972. I was looking at the Blue Book and even in the "pre NEW" era the 4 5/8th's was by far the rarest barrel and commands the highest prices. And boy did bridgebuilder take care of her. I can't see a single blemish except a slight cylinder ring and he says that's exactly what I'll be getting. I'm psyched as I have always wanted a Single Six and it looks like I got a goodie!

You got a nice gun! I didn't see the ad till today. But I'm drawn to any 4 5/8" Ruger SA. Just FYI although not cataloged Ruger has let a few 4/5'8" slip out the door since '72. Blue and stainless Sup SSs and I got my 1st one w/fixed sights brand new in 1997. Davidson had a run since then with fixed sight and case colored frame in both 4 5/8" and 5 1/2".

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you but I actually only saw the Single Six on Sunday for the first time. It's everything you said it is - a beauty! I'm real glad to see the BlackHawk sold. I was on here to let all the folks know what a great guy John was to deal with, Don't hesitate in dealing with him.
