Salesman Magazines/Clips

[Black Fly]

A gentleman has a couple salesman model magazines in the classifieds. I have no doubt that they are just that and they will add value to someone's collection. I once had a 10 22 that had clear magazines. How does one tell them apart.

I'm pulling from a faded memory,, but I think the internal center piece that rotates,, is a different color in the "sample" magazines,, vs the production ones.
