Here's one you don't come across very often.
I have for sale a Smith & Wesson Model 696 no dash revolver built on the L frame with a 3" barrel and a round butt. It is a 5 shot .44 Special in excellent plus condition. This model was introduced in 1996. The no dash model was produced for less than 1 year until the -1 was introduced in 1997. The no dash version is a pre-lock, pre-MIM revolver with a forged hammer with a firing pin on the nose, and a forged trigger. MIM triggers & hammers and a transfer bar became standard in 1997 with the introduction of the -1 engineering change. I have a factory box with a Model 696 label but with a different serial number. I don't have the owner's manual, etc. I need $1,200.00 + $50.00 shipping for this one. FFL to FFL. I'm not looking for any trades.
