Up for sale is this very nice L57. Made somewhere around 1958. The varmint weight barrel is 20" long. . Trigger is adjustable. Action is smooth. Wood has a few small dings, one very small scratch extending into the buttpad (shown in second pic) 95% or better. Bluing is 95% or better. I am unsure of the round count. Bore looks good. Shoots 3/4" groups with factory 55 grain ballistic silvertips. Scope rings are included with gun.
The period correct redfield scope was made in Denver. fixed 6x power. has unique peep sight reticle.

$700 shipped without scope or $800 with scope.

Didn't realize i left this out of the original description, but the action was refitted with this barrel. Stamped on the barrel is "CE DURHAM GUNSMITH"

I feel tha one needs to pick his fights/poison/or whatever drives the itch......Those Number Ones have had me corraled for at least three decades and there is an L46 Deluxe Sporter with factory peep, 222 that keeps them company. "Snuck up" on it one wet Friday afternoon, August, 198x, Tucson, at the old Jensen's. It had been on the rack for all of fifteen minutes and the place was crowed with Fridays' paycheck bunch..........Put it on the ten day hold and paid for it up front............It will always be in the Family......... 8)

flatlander,

Anything in particular you are looking for in trade? My email is [email protected] if you would rather respond there.

Thanks for your time,

Jon

For trades, I am looking for cash first, or a nice 1911 or an AR setup or just about anything really that I never knew I needed before now.
PM any offers that you have.
