Longtime Ruger employee Walt Sych passed away yesterday. Many of you have seen his name and/or image in some of the "Collector Books", including the most recent, John Dougan's Pistols and Revolvers.

May he Rest in Peace!

My prayers for his family. And I know a lot of us feel like we are an extended family because of our passion for Rugers.
A sad day indeed.

A Good Man, Now Gone...... .He gave me a tour of SouthPort back in Nov. of 1984, along with a visit to WBR's Red Barn and the hanging archives. Twenty five years ago.......Seems like yesterday. 8)

On our way home to So. Jersey from the S&W Academy, my partner and I stopped in Southport and met Walt. He gave us a tour of the plant and loaded us up with all sorts of Ruger goodies. That was back in '85 and I spoke with him several times after that. He was a good man.
