Can someone guess at the value of a model 19-3, s/n K89xxxx, nickel, 4 inch barrel in really good(not pristine) shape please. I didn't really see any like it on gunbroker or guns america.

I'd take a WAG at somewhere between $400 and $600, maybe more. A lot will depend on how much cylinder rattle there is (most M19s have some, if they've been shot with .357s), the area of the country, and how bad someone wants a nickel 4" 19 (which could range up to A LOT).

The cylinder does not rattle at all. It really is in great shape.

Need to know if it is origial Factory Nickle or not.
I have a 3" Bodyguard that was sent back to the factory for a Nickled finish. Not as valuable to a collector as one that was originally nickled.

"Jfmcco",
It is my understanding that an original nickel S&W has a small 'N' on the face of the Cyl. and on the frame.

A factory re-nickle has a small 'star' on the face (back) of the cyl. and under the barrel.

The factory historian can also verify it. The S&W web site has a place to order a factory letter. There is a charge.

I found an extra set of grips that I've had for a while, and didn't know what they fit. I think they are diamond magnas. Here is a picture with each set of grips installed. I think I like the magnas better, they really make the gun handle well.

A revolver refinished in nickel will have an R-N inside of a rectangle stamped on the left side of the grip frame. If the 19-3 has an N stamped on the left side of the grip frame then it is likely it shipped as an original nickel revolver. It may also have an N stamped on the cylinder under the extractor (the extractor will be blued, not nickeled and the hammer and trigger will be case hardened). A 19-3 in 99 precent condition and original nickel will be valued at $500 to $600 and was most likely shipped in 1969 or early 1970.

...I think it is probably not an original nickel finish, but that is ok. What is the best way to care for it so that it continues to look as good as it does now?

Can I just keep it lightly oiled with remoil or breakfree clp like I do with my other guns?

Be sure to watch what you use for bore cleaning, do not use anything that is formulated to remove copper fouling, which usually contains ammonia.

Under that nickle plate is probably a layer of copper... that is usually done because nickel plates to copper better than high carbon steel.

The bore cleaners containing ammonia will eventually attack the copper, and cause the nickel to lift/peel. If the nickel surface is comprimised in the least, the cleaner will undermine it.

It can also cause the nickel to discolor/stain.

Breakfree CLP sounds good... what ever you plan to use on the gun, just be sure to read the label for any warnings about using it on nickel.
