Ruger

That is exactly how Blackrock and Vanguard roll. They are involved in most things exactly just like this.....If one looks at their 401 K's or their own personal finances through a financial advisor, and especially with mutual funds, etc., you will definitely see a lot of "Blackrock & Vanguard" marked down there all over the place....

I hate to see Ruger go down like this they changed to cheaper gun market and lost credibility in the ruger american .I love old Ruger 77 tang safety rifles mine are super accurste mostly 338 win mags .My mark II 77s are awesome rifles but I hate that safety .I shoot my old tang safety rifles like a double barrel shotgun .I hope Beretta does them good in this takeover .

Check out the RENE announcement . . .

😁

Yeah,......It's looks much as he says. "It's pretty much a done deal"....and as he commented that CZ wanted Colt's revolver line, I have always been thinking here as this was happening that Beretta wants Ruger's revolver line. Either way, Beretta is doing this for a reason and it sucks that it has come to this. Please wake me up when it's over...

Beretta really wants something. Is it just a desire to crush a competitor?

Going public is good for the pocketbook but leaves a company open to be bought by a competitor.

Ruger has some decent manufacturing facilities and an investment casting plant, along with barrel making (hammer forging) at two of thieir plants and button rifiling at a 3rd (Hebron). Lots and lots of CNC machines that could be retooled/repurposed as needed.

Beretta could add a goodly amount of state side manufacturing capacity very quickly.

Ain't that the truth !! And I still think they want the Ruger revolver lines.

Okay, I'm about tired of everyone screaming about Beretta like they're the big bad boogie man or something.

They're a good company who's in business to make money. They don't go around buying companies to destroy them. They buy them to improve them and make them more profitable.

If you don't know this, Beretta acquired Burris in 2002. My uncle was President of Burris from the time Don retired until just recently. His daughter (my cousin) is still in charge of North America operations. Beretta has great leadership and is vested in making acquired companies succeed.

This is a far cry from Black Rock. Those jerks would sell their own mothers into slavery if they thought they could make a buck. Where's all the outrage about their share of Ruger stock? I truly hope that Beretta does take over and then buys out Black Rock.

I really love the Green Bay Packers because the fans own the team instead of some corporation. But in today's world, it's better to have a good corporate owner than to have jerks for owners. The Colorado Rockies will suck forever until they have better owners. And Ruger will blossom with Beretta as owners.

Call me crazy, but I think my uncle knows Beretta better than 99.99% of people on various gun forums.
