New to the site. I own a 10/22, SR22, Glock 19 5th gen, Sig P365x, Ruger 1911 Commander 9mm, and I just purchased the LCP MAX 380 for pocket carry. Reading some of the threads here about people not liking the recoil is not a reason to sell it, in my opinion...you wanna talk about recoil, you have to shoot a Sig P365x..

Everyone is different. I own a few Rugers and a few other brands. If a pistol doesn't work well for me it pretty much goes down the road. While I didn't own it I did shoot a Kel-Tec P3AT (the predecessor of the original LCP). It was a nasty little bugger. I wouldn't want one.

I recently bought this new P365X, but haven't shot it yet.
It seems to me to be pretty "weighty" for a micro nine though.
My Kahr CW9 single stack which weighs less than the Sig is not a harsh shooter, so I don't anticipate any dramatic difference.
Hope I'm not wrong.

I have the X Sig also and don’t find it a noticeably snappy pistol. Neither does my wife and she finds the S&W 642 with ‘reg’ .38s uncomfortable.
With Corbon 115+p the Sig a bit snappy but easily tolerable. Strange how some pistols affect shooters differently and vise versa.

Welcome to the forum... the interesting thing is I got my carry pistol from a guy because he could not deal with the recoil on it.... you think the Sig P365 in 9mm has recoil...... try the Sig P239 in 357 Sig.
Then, none of that is actually much recoil .... the first time I ever went to the Ruger Forum east coast gathering Contender let me shoot a 454 Casull several times.....

I used to load 500gr bullets ahead of 90 grains of powder in my Kentucky Pistol. A range master thought I was performing with it and asked to try. His middle finger wrapped around the trigger guard backwards.

I love shooting 9mm and can and have done so all day long... but anything above that other than 45acp I'll give a pass to running much ammo through.... Last couple of times I went to the range I did not enjoy shooting my carry rounds. But the 357 Sig round was not made to 'enjoy'. (I'm going to bring probably 500 rounds of 9mm with me to Contender's in the Fall for folks to 'enjoy'.

Some people should stick to 22. I was putting some rounds through my old P11 yesterday and was noticing the recoil a little more than I used to. A smaller lighter gun WILL have more felt recoil than a larger heavier one it's the most basic of Physics!!! I find substantial recoil reassuring that I am hurling something effective.
