Ruger Ultralight 7mm08

I bought one a few years ago that had the target gray finish. I messed around and traded it off. It was a nice rifle to carry and shoot. I havent been able to find another like it. Does anyone know what the target gray finish is?

As I understand it, the target gray finish is put on with some sort of chemical that penetrates into the metal.
If you had a Mark II with that finish, it was probably a pretty scarce model as they were available only through Lipsey's I beleive.
