Ruger Standard 22LR - I Need a "Born On Date"

Greetings

I have a Ruger Standard 22LR 4 3/4 tapered fixed sights blue A-54

Its nothing special to anyone but depending on its date of manufacture, it might be to me

Catch-22 - I would order a letter if I knew what month it was made/shipped

serial 10-608XX - 1970 I believe later months?

can anyone pinpoint this for me?

The only way to get the month,, would be to get the letter. You are correct in that the year is 1970.

A letter just costs $10. Pretty good deal.

Looking at Rugers SN look up. I would be comfortable saying it was made in 1970
