Ok guys just ordered it this morning should be here next week im hoping .besides the initial cleaning and the barrel screw to check is there anything else I need to look for. I got 2 bulk boxes of federal already to go but should I get a box or 2 of cci hot stuff to break her in with.... Plan is next Friday to play hookie and take the 22 the sr9c and the lcp all out on their maiden voyage and see how they run.. got a couple hundred 45lc loaded so the vaquero may go for a ride as well

I wouldnt worry about getting any expensive CCI. You buy a .22lr for cheap ammo reasons. The Federal bulk works fine. I had 3 oddballs outta 275ish today....so Federal owes me 9 cents.

Ruger has Mags available.

Sounds like a good plan I really like the reviews on this gun and just hope it lives up to the hype

I wouldn't worry with any of the expensive stuff unless you just want to try a certain load. I ran bulk Blazer 40 gr with no issues and many others have as well. This little gun is crazy fun and as mentioned, extra mags would be a good investment! As quick as it can eat ammo, you'll be reloading a lot! I haven't done any deliberate accuracy tests yet as I was pressed for time and just wanted to get as much ammo through it as I could. A friend has one as well and he's had zero issues running Winchester.

That 9c should put a smile on your face as well. 150 rounds through mine now with, once again, zero issues. Put 124+p Gold Dots through it last weekend along with Blazer and Winchester bulk. The Gold Dots were awesome. Wish they weren't a buck a round 'cause they were noticeably more accurate then either of the bulk rounds.

Your going to like this gun alot. These magazines load so nice and easy I've found it easy to live with two for right now. I'll pick a few more up when they become more plentiful.

Well in less than a week I have about 1200 rounds through it so I guess I like it. It really burns through a lot of ammo quickly. The grandpa glock sr22 review video inspried me.

hickok45's video review is what convinced me to buy one as well. That and the fact that the price of 550 rounds of good Federal bulk ammo is only $18.97 plus tax at my local Walmart. ; )

Our local gun store buys pallets of Blazer Brass and sells it for 12.99 per 500 brick. I have bricks of Champions but they get a few squibs.

Man you guys have me all excited it was supposed to be delivered sat to my ffl but the roads were messed up so it should be here tomorrow. I'm ready to go shooting on Friday gonna strip and clean one night this week and stock up on some more ammo
