This is a Ruger SR-556 complete upper (everything minus the charging handle) in the relatively rare 6.8 SPC chambering. I'm asking (price dropped - see last post). I’ve owned this upper for a few years and shot it very little – no more than a couple boxes of ammo. It’s got a few minor scuffs here and there consistent with a rifle that’s been carried in the woods a few times, but it’s in great shape. It’s been 100% reliable and pretty accurate. I was getting 5-shot groups around an inch with Hornady 110 grain V-Max ammo, but I make no accuracy guarantee. This comes as a ready-to-go system including the complete upper (minus the charging handle), two 10-round C-Products magazines, six 25-round C-Products magazines, 87 rounds of Hornady 110 grain V-Max ammo and 13 pieces of Hornady brass, an RCBS full length die set, a Magpul AFG1 (angled fore grip – version 1), a Magpul RSA QD (quick detach) sling attachment, and some black ladder rail covers. C-Products magazines are among the best for the 6.8 SPC round. Only one of the 10-round and one of the 25-round magazines have been opened – the rest are still new in the wrapper.
As you might expect, shipping costs are going to be pretty high with the size and weight of this package. I’m going to charge $40 for shipping with insurance, though it will probably cost me more than that. Uppers are not “firearms” in and of themselves, not having a serial number, and so nothing needs to go to your FFL. Everything will ship directly to your door.
Ultimately it is your responsibility to know whether this upper and these magazines are legal where you live! If you’re in an area where high-capacity magazines are illegal (I understand this currently includes CA, HI, MA, MD, NY, NJ, and parts of IL) I will not ship the 25-round mags to you, though you’re still welcome to purchase the rest (contact me before bidding to discuss a fair discount on the purchase price).
