ruger single six in red box question

Gentlemen: I am looking at a single six in the red plastic box. From 2003. Just bought on gunbroker, but can't see top of the box in the pictures. Were these a special run ? Thanks, greg

Would that have been their 50th Anniversary?

I'm thinking some of the 50th Blackhawks came in red plastic ....... maybe those were the same. :?:

The 50th Anniversary single sixes did come in a red plastic box back in 2003. Can't believe it has been that long since I bought mine. And my 50th Anniversary .357 also came in a re box.

They had 50th Blackhawks in 357m and 44m, a MKII, and a SS6 all in the red 50th box as I recall correctly? 50th Bearcat in a paper box with a gun rug
