I like the Leupold M8-2x pistol scope. IMO the best eye relief between Weaver, Tasco & Nikon. If you go for higher magnification, you loose too much field of view and your head position becomes super critical. Now, if you only do bench shooting, magnification might not be a big issue as you have all the time in the world to get the position right. For hunting, fast target acquisition is more of the issue.
