Has anyone shot one of these? http://www.ruger.com/micros/rugerRimfire/index.html

I just noticed it on Ruger's homepage, looks like fun. Steel plates for .22 pistols & rifles.

the Sig-Sauer Academy in Epping NH hosted one a couple of years ago, approximately 250+ shooters. very well organized and extremely well run. I think a few local gun clubs were a part of it to help it run as well as it did, by providing RSO's and scores etc. Had a Great time, finished well out of the running because of a mechanical malfunction of my own making on my MK-II. Had a great time lot of good prizes and a lot of new friends.

Would love to see something here on the East coast. Seems most of the 'Ruger rimfire competitions' are West of the Mississippi or in the North of the US. There are none in the South or Mid Atlantic.

I mentioned to my wife there's a shooting competition in Show Low, Az next month, about 3 hours away. She just reserved us a campsite close by so it looks like I'm giving it a go! Cool!

Here is our 2nd annual .22 rimfire shoot coming up in a couple of weeks. How often do you hear about somebody that has a "tack-driving" .22 rifle? As a full time gunsmith, I hear it all the time, so, I decided to start a "tack driving" event, up here in Northwestern Wisconsin.

We had a ton of fun last year, and I hope some of you folks can make this years event. You might even win a prize. We have targets that are the exact same size as the head of a thumb tack, so if you can hit it, you've driven a tack. Come on up, all you folks are welcome on July 21st, of 2013. :D
