later made Red Lable in 26in barrel. 12ga. 100% complete and minty. owner said its unfired. and I believe him. about as nice a package as your find. open to trades for Deerstalker rifles, low or odd number 44 carbines and 1022s. checkard guns are my weakness. cash as needed on my end. $1800 FNC

Nice Red "Label". Can you provide a pic or two of the gun assembled? Also, is this gun "New In Box" as advertised? If so, any pics of the original box, papers, etc.? Or "minty"? There's obviously a difference.
I don't remember based on the Red Labels I've purchased over the years any guns (aside from a few possible exceptions) leaving the factory in the case shown.
I'd just like to see breach photos, a pic of the tang safety and the gun fully assembled if possible.

Not sure why the previous owner would buy a new Red Label, purchase a hard case, pic&pluck spots for chokes, tool, gun etc. and never fire it…but that's his prerogative I guess…

I have no way of knowing if its unfired myself. the owner i got it from said it was unfired. and i believe him.. here's a photo of a red label case. so they where made. its a very late gun. owner manual is in the box as shown. is you like more photos. pm me your phone number. FNC

I'm rather confident the later Red Labels came in these soft cases from Ruger, as I have one myself. I did a quick search and found a couple of instances where it indicated just that.

I apologize if I'm out of line as I'm not trying to derail the thread as this is an amazing Shotgun.
