For those diehard Ruger memorabilia collectors. What do yall value these playing cards nowadays? All three sets are unopened. Seems I recall seeing the OM box top ones were from 1970. Is that correct? Thanks

I think at least two sets of them are in Dougan's book, but I'm on vacation and the wife put her foot down about making room to bring it with us.

Thanks Troy. I didn't think to look in John's book. That may tell the year for sure. Still curious about value.

I looked through my notes on my computer and the only one I have a price next to is the 1983 cards at $20. I know I have the silver set, maybe its the1978 set, but I don't have it on my list.

Searching here and ROCS, I see where some sold in 2014. The set from the 70's sold for $50 and the 1983 sold for $35. A set from the 70's sold on ROCS for $75 in 2018.

Yes, according to Dougan’s book that set is from 1978. I would’ve guessed earlier since they are the style of OM box.

I have forgotten a lot of memorabilia info but the 1970 set was in a box with a slide-out lid, and RUGER was printed at the bottom instead of at the top like the 1978 set.

This is a 1970 set that is still (barely) in the cellophane wrap:

In fact, the cellophane tore like that just now when I removed the cards from my display cabinet to take that pic!
