We all know these were on their deathbed last year when Lipseys stepped up to save 'em for 2015. We also know the furniture we were expecting did not happen.
What are your thoughts on the following points?
Would you like to see a 2016 run or let them die with dignity?
What calibers in what configurations would you like to see?
I'll start that one;
1A in 22 Hornet or 35 Rem.
1 RSI in 22 Hornet
1S in 20 gauge for 3" sabot slugs
1V in 6.5 Creedmoor

Will there be a No1 production run next year? This years are arriving very late and it seems the wood is just average. Will Lipsey's have sold enough of the 2015 guns to justify stepping up for another years production.

.358 Win. and .35 Rem. have been bandied about, would probably sell out quick in a #1 of some type.

I am also waiting for the 223 "V".

Frankly I an't think of too many not already done that are going to sell 250 ea of just about anything.

If I didn't own a 264 Win Mag, maybe the 26 Nolser but the published data is well within the range of fast versus slow barrel.

Frankly I am getting to the point that there are lots of #1s out there from years past that will end up with lower production and better wood. It's going to have to be something REAL interesting to get my $ in 2016.

Since Jason from Lipsey's probably reads these threads, I'll use this to put in a request for a No. 1S, 24" barrel, in .35 Whelen. Maybe even a 24" No. 1S in 7x57.

Also the fixed shallow V and white bead front sight setup would be perfect on the open sight No. 1 models.
